In today’s society, with the living condition and society development level keep increasing and accelerating, the quality needs of people on their lives and diet are growing continuously. The food in China cannot satisfy the consumers’tricky requirement at all. Together with the influx of lots of foreign gourmet, Japanese cuisine has stepped into Chinese market naturally. In a very short period of time, Japanese cuisine found its location among Chinese food by highlighting its high-end, unique and new characteristic.Where there is a market there is a competition, the industry of Japanese cuisine is stepping into intense sale competition. Within the market economy, competition as a bound product must appear accordingly. Competition constantly pushes the development of the market economy. If a properly operating enterprise wants to maintain its competition advantage, it has to combine internal environment, outer environment, company resource, employee potential and management guidance to formulate a set of competition strategy that is suitable for its living environment.. However, with the technology improvement in the modern society new type of management method comes into application, traditional thinking mode is being cracked and creative sale idea is developing, thus provides us a new way to combine the cost leading strategy and the differentiation strategy together to make what once was impossible possible.This dissertation begins with the combination of the above strategies by using real cases and with the specific restaurant operating status and objective facts to analyze and explain the internal connection and union of the cost leading strategy and the differentiation strategy. First of all, the writer has read and combined a lot of national and international material and related real cases to analyze and summarize those results and point of views, meanwhile, the writer gives sharp evaluations on those unsolved issues and the theoretical long term development based on those theories. Second of all, in the aspect of how to research and design, the writer explains the effectiveness and operability of this thesis through real angle by discussing research methods, specific implementation steps and final assurance measures individually, and at the same time, the writer proves the possibility of the combination strategy by using the real angle of operating the Huawu Japanese cuisine restaurant. Finally, at the end of this dissertation, by combining the real operating status, the writer concludes a feasible result to implement those methods as well as proposing assurance measures to remedy the incompletion of the combination strategy and the limitation of this thesis.
