Research Of GDP Data Quality Inspection Methods In China

With the development of social economy, the statistics becomes more and moreimportant. At the same time, there are many doubts about the statistical data quality in ourcountry. In order to improve the quality of China’s economic data quality, it is necessary todo further study for it.The paper has five parts. First, analyzing the importance of statistical data in theeconomic development and the importance of establishing data quality assessment system.Listing the related literature researches of data quality, put forward the main content andresearch methods in the paper. Second, using the basic concept of data quality as thestarting point, introducing the basic requirements to improve data quality, and theprinciple and standards that must followed if we want to get the authority’s approval in thedata quality assessment. In order to find the gap between China’s GDP accountingstandards and international standards, do qualitative analysis to the China’s GDP dataquality. Third, established the data quality assessment with statistical data deleted model,the PP method and so on. Finally, do a data quality analysis using the data of GDP in1996-2011. With the help of SPSS software, establishes statistical data deleted model,then optimizes the model through eliminating multicollinearity. Combine the Optimizedmodel and PP method, finds the most abnormal points, and find it’s source. Give someadvises to eliminate abnormal points.
