Research On The Interaction Of Urban Rail Transit And Ningbo Jiangbei Dis Trict’s Development

As one of the themes of Urban Infrastructure,China’s Urban Rail Transit ushers in a new upserge under the rapid progress of urbanization today. Major cities in China have developed a large-scale rail transite network planning, the construction work has been in full swing. Rail Transit Construction will play a tremendous role in promoting the development of the city and the region, while facing unprecedented challeages. Urban Rail Transit’s perfection and Regional Development’s enhancment is a process of intercation, rail transit is an inevitable requirment and choice of regionaldevelopment, but also is the booster to promote the region to achieve the quality improvement andredevelopment. These two constitute a interdependent and mutually reinforcing relationship. As forthe local governments, in urban metro project construction process, they serve as the manager, guide, coordinator, regulator and other mutiple roles. They play the role that can not be replaced by other principal parts. This research is mainly divided into three parts.First, theoretical analysis the relationship between Urban Rail Transit construction of Urban Rail Transit system and Regional Development, from the interaction aspect.Second, introduce the modes of domestic and internaitionalRail Transit regional development. Analyse the role that government should play in the construction of Rail Transit, speeding up the process of constrcution of Rail Transit and promoting the social development of the area, by studying the different characteristics of different development modes.Third, research and analysis the impacts that Rail Transit Construction brings to Jiangbei District’sdevelopment combining with Jiangbei District’s current development situation. Discuss the works that the local government shoud do, the correlative functions that the local government shoud play and the countermeasures choices and suggestions that the local government should give in order to booste another peak of regional harmonious development in Jiangbei Distirct with Rail Transit Construciton.
