Study On The Development Of Mechanism And Strategies For International Transshipment Inland Port

In recent years, with the rapid growth of China’s economy, the inland port has developeda lot, inland ports’ function constantly improve, and position has advancement. As theextension of Multimodal Transport, the cooperation between the inland port and coastal portsis deepening, promoting each other. The function of the harbor and transport networkscontinue to expand, gradually transferred to the inland port. Developing inland port tointernational pivotal transshipment inland port is based on a large number of inland ports’ lackmotivation, supply dispersed, lack of cooperation between inland ports.Based on the above background, this paper analyses the status of the development ofinland ports at home and abroad, puts forward a mode of development of constructinginternational pivotal transshipment inland port, and analyses the theoretical basis of Xi’aninland port as an international pivotal transshipment inland port, combines the LogisticsIntegration Field to analyze the operation mechanism and development of motivation of theinternational pivotal transshipment inland port.Second, planning the main function and facilities of international pivotal transshipmentinland port, and takes Xi’an inland port for example to analyze the operational processes andbusiness models of international pivotal transshipment inland port, builds Xi’an internationalpivotal transshipment inland port operational system.Finally, according to the above international pivotal transshipment inland portoperational system, drawing the development strategy of international pivotal transshipmentinland port and Xi’an inland port’s specific strategies.Through the study of this paper, is to propose new models and new strategies ofdeveloping inland port and achieve inland port’s economies of scale, enhance inland port’scompetitiveness. The mode of development of international pivotal transshipment inland portis in the international perspective, to drive inland areas with economies in transition, and animportant measure to improve the inland areas’ transport structure. Therefore, the state shouldgive policy support to establish a small number of international pivotal transshipment inlandport, as a new mode of development of inland ports.
