Microfinance has become an internationally effective means to combat poverty, butalso become a powerful tool for service "three rural" in China. As our new force in thefield of micro-finance, should take servicing "three rural" as their social mission. However,with the development of new rural financial institutions in China, Micro-credit Companiesprefer making money to servicing "three rural", and it is difficult for them to continuetargeting the "three rural". So studying the social performance is good for Micro-creditCompanies to promote their services "three rural" and achieve their social goals, and thesocial performance provides a theoretical basis for the development of Micro-creditCompanies.In this paper, we are discussing how Micro-credit Companies fulfill the socialresponsibility of the "three rural". The definition of social performance in Micro-creditCompanies is service "three rural". We draw on international experience, selectedMicro-credit Companies’ social performance assessment indicators, and used AHP todetermine the weight of social performance assessment indicators. After the analysis ofMicro-credit Companies, social performance assessment system includes29indicators in9standards of3dimensions.Finally, this paper summarizes the conclusions of the study of social performanceIndicators system. The perfection of the social performance assessment system not onlyneed to determine the main body of social performance assessment and implementationform, but also from business and government policies start to build the informationplatform, relax policy environment, to improve information transparency of China’sMicro-credit Companies on the basis of both financial and performance information.
