The productivity to the level of economic development of a country or region, aswell as productivity developments gave a very good evaluation. Since in our country’sreform and opening up, Chinese labor productivity increase very rapidly, according tofigures released in2013, from the World Bank,2012, labor productivity in China8times than1980, even throw the price factor impact2012productivity in China thanin1990up to1time more than doubled. But for the moment our country comparedwith other countries in the world about labour productivity remained relativelybackward. On September26,2013, Ernst and young issued the imperative: boostingChinese productivity reports, enterprises should improve productivity in its appeal,and constantly improve the profitability of enterprises, and noted that productivityenhancement plays a very important role in the development of China’s economy.From current levels, according to figures in a report released by the Chinese Academyof Sciences, China’s labor productivity is only United States’s one-twelveth, and Japanthan Japan one-tenth. As part of the enterprise in China--the Shanghai composite inChina’s a-share companies, their productivity is very low. China’s Shanghai a-sharesindex from December31,1998,1181, the2,269points reached on December31,2012,the14years, Shanghai a-share index rose just1time, while at the same time onOctober16,2007, when Shanghai a-shares index hit a peak of6,124points, aftersliding the2,269points reached on December31,2012, reaches the end of2013,Shanghai a-shares index remained above2,400points. Shanghai a-shares continues to expand the scale of the enterprise, but itsability to create value is still very low, to be further improved.
