Empirical Research On The Influence Factors Of Xiaoshan Chemical Fiber Industry Clusters’ Development

As a high efficient production organization mode, industry clusters is animportant support of regional economic development with strong competitiveness. Inthe global scope, how to promote the sustainable development of the industrialclusters has become an important field. However, there are certain defects in someaspects of industrial clusters influence factors’ theoretical results and empiricalresearches at home and abroad, the research is still in qualitative, there are moreresearches on the industrial clusters’ competitiveness, the researches are still in plainlevel from the overall.Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou City, as one of the most important chemical fibermanufacturing bases of the domestic and global, chemical fiber industry cluster istaking shape. This paper, from the perspective of industrial clusters’ influence factors,takes Hangzhou Xiaoshan chemical fiber industry clusters as the research object,reveals the inherent law of industrial clusters’development through the analysis of theinner link between the industrial clusters’ development mechanism and its influencefactors. It is of important theoretical and realistic significance for the sustainabledevelopment of industry clusters.This paper first summarizes the research of industrial clusters developmentinfluence factors of the domestic and foreign scholars from these points includingclassical cluster, industrial location, transaction cost, competitive advantage and othercluster theories. Through the advantages and disadvantages analysis of the abovetheories, combined with the specific situation of Xiaoshan chemical fiber industryclusters, this paper builds DEHIRN model of the industrial clusters’ developmentinfluencing factors, including market-demand, core-enterprise, human-resources,investment, R&D-input and cluster-network, to explore the inner link between thevarious factors of the model and the development of industrial clusters. On this basis,this paper selects measurement index of these influence factors with Delphi Method,and makes an empirical research on Xiaoshan chemical fiber industry clusters development influence factors by using correlation analysis, regression analysis andprincipal component analysis. At last, based on the research conclusions, this paperputs forward the countermeasures to promote the Xiaoshan chemical fiber industryclusters’ further development from these point of views including market demand,leading enterprises, human capital, capital agglomeration, technology innovation andcluster network platform and so on.
