With the steady development of economic globalization, China has become the Nol developing country. The internal as well as the external situations that our national financial industries are confronted with become unexpectedly complex and changeable, and market competitions is more and more fierce and cruel, especially the financial fields, which is facing the unprecedented challenges. Therefore, financial fields have adopted many feasible development strategies, which should be fit for their own features, for the aim of surviving and developing. Among those, the human resource management strategy is the core, which has been the focus of modern financial enterprise management.As the most vital parts of management activity for financial enterprises, which will surely realize the integral objective, the staff performance assessment management has aroused more and more concern.The core of this theory is firstly realized by the effective evaluation of the all levels, departments, and employee performance. For another, give the appropriate incentives respectively, according to the different performance results.The goal of the management activity can promote the level of performance of the different organization, department, employees, in order to gain continuously efficiency which can enhance the core competitiveness, finally achieve the organization’s overall strategic objectives. Combining staff performance assessment management with other management strategies, it can fulfill enterprise annual task, and accomplish the long-term development strategy objective.We choose the staff performance assessment management from the city of Y Branch of Agricultural Development Bank of China and analyze the major theories in the present assessment. Based on the materials from questionnaire, survey and interview of all levels, we apply the KPI and other theories and take the present statistics into account, try to put forwards a new solution and plan to the existing problems.By implementing this new plan, we hope that it can help to perfect the staff performance assessment, and promote the internal potential of enterprise and accomplish the goal of development of branch perfectly.This essay consists of five chapters. Chapter one is the introduction, analyzing the background information as well as the research’s goal, content and methodology of this research. Chapter Two is the staff performance assessment management. In this part, we introduce methods and KPI theory and other performance assessment theories. Chapter Three is about the current situation, existing problems and analysis. We make an assay of the current situation of the city of Y branch, problems and reasons. Chapter Four is the redesigning of assessment plan. Judging from the existing problems and analysis, we redesign a staff performance assessment plan, which is related to the management objective of this branch and apply the KPI and other theories to the actual situation there. Chapter Five lay great emphasis on implement of this new plan. Finally, we reach a conclusion.
