The information security industry is an emerging high-tech industry, although construction produced in the informatization and information system, but there are many differences with the traditional IT service. Characteristics of information security industry determines its R&D staff in addition to a professional expertise and high personal qualities, highly creative, but also by the traditional enterprise management system constraints, and R&D personnel working process is difficult to supervise and control, work is not easy to measure and evaluate directly. How to effective performance management, the research and development personnel is the key to decide the success or failure of the enterprise information security.Based on relevant theories of performance management overview, by using the method of questionnaire, visiting survey the peer enterprises, and participate in the WS performance reform discussion of the company. Through the investigation of current situation of performance management of R&D personnel in WS company, analyzing the present problems in the performance management, and puts forward the multilevel solution to solve these problems. This will be conducive to improving the WS Company’s performance management system, improve the performance management level and work efficiency, achieve the strategic goal of the enterprise, also has implications for information security counterparts.The first chapter is an introduction, mainly introduces the main contents and framework of the research background, purpose and significance, research methods and paper. The information security industry is the emerging high-tech industry, bear the information security of government, army, enterprise, personal burden in China, has a strategic position cannot be ignored and replaced. At the same time, the traditional performance management methods and the future development trend is also introduced, laying the foundation for the following proposals in improving the reasonable.The second chapter is the summary of relevant theories of performance management, and introduces the commonly used performance appraisal methods, for the face after the flexible choice of performance evaluation tools.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of information security industry characteristics, development trend and the information security industry R&D performance management, play an important role. Because of the information security industry has obvious " small and specialized, high input and high output, characteristics of technology and timeliness requirements ", the strategic position and it’s important not coordination; good development trend of the industry and the current situation of performance management is not mature single not coordinated; it is this kind of uncoordinated produced strong improvement in demand eng, save a lot of room for improvement.The fourth chapter mainly introduces the current situation of performance management of WS company and the existing problems, this chapter from the perspective of information security industry to the information security of enterprises, from the surface to the point, vivid and sharp and pointed out the existence of WS company’s current performance management issues, such as " heavy selling light technology; lack of R&D growth culture; the lack of R&D occupation development plan the performance management system; single unreasonable". It provides the basis for the improvement scheme is formulated in the fifth chapter. The fifth chapter is the focus of this article, this chapter from the principle of improvement of performance management to write, to develop performance management scheme for different development level, and then to guarantee the implementation of this plan, elaborated systematically the feasibility of improving scheme. This chapter proposes the development of WS Company as engineer level, R&D manager level and above, the project manager level and corresponding to KPI, BSC,360degree performance management tools and methods. The examination management is not up to the place, proposed in the scheme to guide enterprise culture, and the "two eight principles" to guide enterprises to reasonable use limited development resources.The sixth chapter is the WS company draw lessons and experiences, zoom in to the industry, hope his cue from the rest of the information security industry enterprises, so as to the health of the industry development.
