Abstract/Summary:
With economic development, the scale of business continues to expand, andbusiness management activities become increasingly complex and professional, theseparation occurs between business owners and business operators. This is theso-called "manager revolution", the principal-agent relationship occurs betweenbusiness owners and professional managers. However, the West used more than ahundred years to develop a professional manager system, compare to it, theemergence of professional managers in China only in the past twenty years. Thedevelopment of manager market is restricted by a number of factors: manager marketis lack of an effective system of rules and legal norms, there is the responsibilityabsence of professional managers; the contradiction between professional managersand business owners is obvious; professional ethics of professional managers isrelatively weak, leading to a crisis of confidence between owners and managers; theoverall quality of professional managers should be improved. The managementmechanism and evaluation mechanisms of employing enterprise are not perfect. Inthis context, it is very necessary to research professional manager evaluation systemfrom principal-agent perspective.Studies professional managers evaluation system from the perspective of theprincipal-agent. Principal-agent theory, incentive theory and game theory are thesupport theories. Combined with the qualities and abilities of professional managersto reveal the existing problems in China’s professional managers evaluation and buildup a comprehensive evaluation system of professional managers. Most data areacquired through the questionnaire survey, also a part of the data is based on theinterviews of top managers. And using the analytic hierarchy process (ahp) todetermine the influence weight of each index of professional managers’evaluationsystem.Through the research, the biggest influence index on professional managers value is professional integrity. The index of professional ethics, professional loyalty andwork sense of responsibility is the foundation of the value formation of theprofessional managers. Personality quality also plays an important role, whetherhonesty or integrity rigorous self-discipline, bold, these qualities will affect theenterprise owners to evaluate professional managers. In addition, interpersonal skills,concepts skills and technical skills of professional managers also have a veryimportant influence. Professional manager should attach great importance.In order to realize the standardization of the professional managers in our country,it is necessary to establish the authority of the professional manager qualificationcertification system and effective professional managers evaluation mechanism, andset up evaluation institution of professional managers; Also it need to formulatecorresponding laws,regulations and supervision mechanism, to define clearly what isprofessional managers’ duty, responsibility and authority, to build standardprofessional managers legal environment; On the basis of the local talent market,through the information network, to set up talent information network covering thewhole country, at the same time to set up a professional managers’ informationdatabase and the enterprise’ information database, to provide efficient and convenientinformation services; our country can draw lessons from the United States’relativelyperfect credit system and combined with China’s national conditions to set upprofessional managers’ credit system. Enhance the value of professional managersneed professional managers’ own efforts, to improve its own brand awareness,strengthen the construction of the brand. Improve individual moral standards, enhanceprofessional loyalty, sense of responsibility and sense of mission, conceptual skillsand interpersonal skills; To establish reasonable knowledge structure.
