When Chinese commercial banks evaluate the credit of small and micro corporations, thecredit rating system of large businesses is almost used due to the lack of the credit assessmentmodel of small and micro businesses. In the world, most development countries have alreadycreated the credit evaluation model to native small corporations and been put into practice. Itfocuses on quantitative analysis so that the work efficiency is improved largely and the workperformance is proved good. In order to study the credit assessment model of Chinese smalland micro businesses, this paper is based on some relative risk control theory, such asprediction theory, valuation theory, option pricing theory and hedging theory. And after theanalysis of the US SBSS credit assessment model, the Japanese Yachiyo Bank, the operationof CRD, the TDB and the Indian credit evaluation system of small and micro businesses, thispaper is trying to find the simple model which can be used in China and the key points behindthe model. It also makes a comparative analysis to the existing model of Chinese small andmicro corporations. Finally, some suggestions, such like completing the national credit system, establishing the index weight of risk, reducing the quantitative index, improving the facility ofthe data of native small and micro businesses, are made to help build the Chinese creditassessment system.
