The Correlation Analysis Between The Function Of The Faemer’s Cooperative Organizations And The Costs Of Farmer’s Trust On The Cooperative

The farmers’ cooperatives are the organizations founded by the farmers who sell thesame goods or offer the same services based on the Household Contract ResponsibilitySystem. The founders unite by their own willingness and run the organizations democratically.Since the emergence of the law of the farmers’ cooperatives, the organizations are foundedquickly and play the important role in the area of offering capital goods, training oftechnology, selling services and raising the standard of living of farmers. However, with thedeveloping of the organizations, the number, not the quality is focused on. The problem oflacking of standard system, perfect function and friendly behavior leads to the distrust on theorganizations by the farmers. So the farmers do not want to enter the organizations. Thisphenomenon has a negative effect on the Agricultural modernization. The article takes thefarmers’ cooperative organization of Shaanxi Province as an example to try to find thecorrelation between the functions of the organizations and trust costs on the cooperative.Then by strengthening cooperative’ functions to promote the trust of the farmers’ cooperativeorganizations and the willing of entering the organization, the cooperatives can develop fastand we can do something for the agricultural modernization.This paper selected forty cooperatives of seven representative counties in ShannxiProvince. We got the data through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with ruralresidents who surveyed. The surveys were distributed300copies of the questionnaire.295questionaires were regained, in which293were valid. Responses to the questionnaire data,descriptive statistical methods are used to get the present situation of functions and the costsof trust in the cooperatives, the Canonical correlation analysis for data processing with DPSstatistical software is used to measure the relationship between the function of theorganizations and costs of trust on the cooperative.Through the analysis We find that these function of sales, information-technology, storage, transport, unified purchasing of production, unified brand that the organizationsoffered have a negative influence on the trust costs of institution, psychology andsupervise.The trust costs will be lower if the farmers have high evaluation on these function.Then the article give the following suggests based on the conclusion.(1)The organizations should strengthen the function of sales and information-technologyto solve the main problem in the agricultural production to raise the level of peasant life.(2) The organizations should strengthen the function of storage, transport, unifiedpurchasing of production, unified brand to raise the added value of the products and increaserevenue.
