The job stress is the emphasis of the research in the domain of organizational behavior and management from1970s. The present studies show that the role of different types of job stress on job performance is not the same. How to effectively reduce the negative impact of the hindrance stress, and to increase the positive effect of the challenge stressor, is an important problem in enterprise need to discuss and solve.This research aims to study the influence mechanism of challenge stress/hindrance stress on job performance by surveying enterprise employee. Finally, the main conclusions of this paper can be indicated as follows:(1) Challenge stress has positive effect on job performance.(2) Hindrance stress has obvious negative effect on job performance.(3) Core self-evaluations is a moderator between hindrance stress and job performance. While the hypothesis which Core self-evaluations is a moderator between Challenge stress and job performance has not been verified.(4) Organizational identification is a moderator between hindrance stress and job performance. While the hypothesis which Organizational identification is a moderator between Challenge stress and job performance has not been verified.According to the conclusion, managers can arrange work on the basis of the results of the talent evaluation techniques; Additionally, managers can improve employees’organizational identity by providing more organizational support, encouraging employees to participate in organizational decision-making process, and creating a good atmosphere.
