Study On The Relationship Between The Growth And The Innovation Of Small And Medium-sized Enterprises On Resource Type Area

Small and Medium-sized Enterprises is one of the main channel of employment, one of the main source of scientific and technological innovation, one of the important support of local economic development, and one of the basic force of the economic system reform. The existence of small and medium-sized enterprises is one of the foundation to guarantee forming the reasonable market price, maintaining orderly market competition order, and ensuring the economy running smoothly. But due to the economic crisis from2008, and other external environmental factors, as well as small and medium-sized enterprise its own problems existing in the technology and management. These seriously hindered the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, especially the development of small and medium-sized enterprise in the western region is more difficult, which is facing resources bottleneck. Innovation has become one of the only road to break the crisis. In view of this, this paper selected the relationship between innovation and growth of small and medium-sized enterprise in Shanxi Province as the research object. Through study, we try to clarify the research object’s current situation of the development, and ensure the effect direction and degree between them, it would provide theoretical and data support for the innovation and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in the resource-based area. As well as the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in other western areas.On the basis of reviewing the existed research results. First, we defined the basic concept of innovation and growth; Secondly, on the basis of selecting the research sample and index, we described the status quo of small and medium-sized enterprises’innovation and growth results in Shanxi Province; Thirdly, through empirical process to prove the relationship between innovation and growth of the small and medium-sized enterprise in Shanxi Province, The data analysis software is SPSS17.0, Mainly adopts three research methods:Reliability and Validity analysis, Factor analysis, and Regression analysis method. Research founding that, in the aspect of innovation influence growth:the better condition when the enterprise was set up, the enterprises’Pollutant emissions by per unit would drop more; The stronger of the ability in financing innovation ability, the enterprises’ production cost by per unit would drop more; The stronger of the ability in external competing, the higher gross profit after the implementation of energy conservation and emissions reduction, the lower fixed assets growth rate in the company; The stronger of the ability in technology innovation, the higher market share; In the aspect of Growth influence innovation:the higher market share, the enterprise was better when it was set up; The higher ability in technology innovation and external competing; The higher gross profit after the implementation of energy conservation and emissions reduction, the higher ability in external competing; Dropping more by unit production costs, the higher ability in financing innovation. According to the above analysis results, we give the develop suggestions for small and medium-sized enterprise at last.
