The overall nationaleconomy and people’s living standards have reached unprecedented level, however, there isa regional financial disparity behind the impressive achievements. China has a vast ofterritory and abundant resources. There is an extremely regional financial maturitydisparityin China. The four regions contain eastern, central, western and northeastern.This article will focus on the status quo of the financial differences between the fourregions, how to produce financial maturity disparity, how to treat the financial maturitydisparity, how to reduce the financial maturity disparity.Firstly, the country is divided into four regions. The four regions is eastern, central,western and northeastern., and use indicators and panel data, macro analysis the financialdifferences.The indicators contains FIR, LSR, the number of financial institutions.Secondly, Calculate the regional financial maturity disparity using the indicators, suchas: assets and liabilities, the number of outlets and practitioners, premium income,insurance density, insurance penetration, securitization rate, give the reader a clear display.Thirdly, use the Theil index to estimates the per capita deposits and loans and FIR inorder to observe the trend of China’s regional financial disparity.Finally, analysis the causes of the regional financial differences in the view ofregional economic development, policy factors, institutional factors, historical andgeographic factors, and give suggestions in order to realize the coordinated development. |
