| The requirement of market on product is becoming higher and higher as well asthe variety of product in the current economic situation. Not only in discretemanufacture but also in continuity manufacturing the multi-varieties small volumeproduction is a developing trend. The animal food industry is also influenced by thetrend and has to make some revolution to face the changing market and intensecompetition.The paper analyzed the application of JIT in TPS in continuity manufacture andresearched the production schedule problem in it. First, the paper creatively proposedthe pattern production mode for animal food industry by studying the application ofJIT in different industry. The paper gave a schedule model, the goal of which wasreducing the change of production type, the minimum energy consumed and thelowest inventory level. An practical schedule solution of DL company was given.Then the paper proposed Kanban management method in animal food industryaccording to JIT and pull production, which made it a rule to produce necessaryquantity of product in necessary time. The paper discussed the calculation of Kanban’quantity of four products, and gave a solution for the effective operation of Kanban.Later, JIT was extended to the sourcing and logistic of raw material to improve theturn-over rate of raw material. The paper researched on a kind of raw material byusing mixed product delivery to realize the JIT of raw material.JIT has been successfully used in different industry because of its advanced idea.The application of JIT in animal food industry enriched the research and solved theproduction problem in animal food industry. The paper proposed solutions based onJIT to improve production and logistic by researching the production organizationmode of DL company. The solutions was validated by the example of DL company tosuccessfully reduce the cost and increase the turn-over rate of capital, which is helpfulfor the developing of animal food industry in the future. |
