During the process of capital account liberalization, China mayachieve more benefits but also face more risks. Studies about the liberalization ofChina’s capital account before focused on the whole capital account while this articleis mainly about the measurement of the liberalization of capital account, analysis ofthe reasons why there are still some control in certain subaccounts, conditions andinfluence of liberalization of China’s capital account. Now China has gradually lifteda number of capital transaction limitations, and will focus on the fields ofinternational security investment and other investment. Through measurement on theliberalization of capital account from the angles of policy and capital flows, thisarticle can reach a conclusion that the China’s capital account has lifted capitalaccount liberalization to a new height. By the analysis of global financial environmentand the development of China’s financial market, this article studies the furtherliberalization of international security investment, and brings up advices to solve thepotential risks like the impact of short-term capital flows and threats to thedevelopment of domestic financial market.
