Study On The Industry Of Wuhai City

Resource-based cities are developed by resource exploitation. The common problems to resource-based cities are decrease of resource, heavy pollution and so on. There are many resource-based cities in China, and studies on industry conversion of resource-based cities are the hotspot.Wuhai city is an important resource-based city in the west of Inner Mongolia anonymous region. It is confronted with similar problems, too. The urgent need to Wuhai city is how to realize industry conversion.The paper analyses the features and problems of industries of Wuhai city, and finds the best route with reference of relevant research.Firstly, the paper narrates academic studies on resource-based cities home and abroad, and introduces the relevant theories of industry conversion. The paper concludes the definition of resource-based cities and hotspots in this field. Secondly, the author analyses the past and current situation and strength of Wuhai city on the basis of statistics.Besides, this paper concludes the whole picture of industry in Wuhai city, and analyses three industries in detail. Based on the analysis of problems of industries, the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of future research.
