China’s motorcycle industry didn’t start until1950s. However, after decades of development, China has now become the world’s major exporter of motorcycles.2011is the18th year that China’s motorcycle production and sales ranks the first in the world. Although China’s motorcycle industry keeps a leading position in the aspects of production and sales, speaking of technology and service, the development of China’s motorcycle industry is still far behind developed countries like Japan, and its importers are mainly low-income and less-developed countries. In the meantime, the motorcycle industry’s export development has experienced of huge economic events which are frequently discussed by researchers:China’s accession to the WTO, the reform of the RMB exchange rate system, export tax rebate policy adjustment and global financial crisis, and there is no doubt that these events has caused some impacts on China’s motorcycle export.Based on the above problems, firstly, this industry’s export status is analyzed in this article, including a basic overview of the industry, competition in the domestic and global market, export development trends, intra-industry trade and its influence factors and so on. Secondly, based on Co-integration Test and the Classic Linear Regression Model with Ordinary Least Squares method, an empirical research is done to analyze the relationship between the three factors and China’s motorcycle export by using the software of Eviews6.0. Lastly, some suggestions on this issue are provided after the empirical research. The conclusion of this paper is:the influence of real effective exchange rate (REER) of RMB, financial crisis, and exports tax rebates on China’s motorcycle export are not notable, REER appreciation and financial crisis have negative influence on China’s motorcycle export, while the impact of exports tax rebates is positive.
