Along with the rapid development of economic construction,the demand of blasting is increasing gradually,the scale of production and the demand of detonators, explosives and other pyrotechnics products has been gradually expanding.The traditional method of measuring height in detonator loading height has two kinds, namely manual inspection and mechanical sensor.Traditional method relys on workers visual inspection, but the result is volatile and does not meet the safety requirements.Using sensors, the volume is larger, the price is higher, cannot realise real-time detection and control, the actual production cannot meet the actual production requirement of the factory.In this paper, develop some theory research and set up a binocular stereo vision detection platform combining with the practical project of enterprise production, basing of full investigation and to the question of detonator loading height non-contact binocular vision measurement. In this paper,by using the Zhangzhengyou’s plane template method for camera calibration, determine the parameters of the camera,and the experiments show that the calibration results have high precision, ensureing the measuring accuracy of system. Through the comparison and analysis, using smoothing filter method and image enhancement technology for the pretreatment of the original image, which laid a foundation for subsequent image processIng. At the same time, this paper designed a novel angular point marked patch which can improve the efficiency of Harris corner feature extraction and matching precision. Determine a system of measuring benchmark by eigenvalue plane fitting method, then stereo matching algorithm is adopted to define the detonator loading height.Experiments show that the binocular stereo vision detection platform constructed in this paper can better finish loading height non-contact measurement tasks which has the high testing precision and efficiency, and can adapt to field production enterprise to the beat.
