With the rapid development of high power LED recognized as the fourthgeneration light source in lighting field application, the market application isexpending continuously, while the popularity of a new generation of lighting products,accelerate the research and solve the problem of the LED luminance decrease isparticularly important and urgent.According to the research of the large LED luminance decrease, this paper putforward a new method that test lumens decrease of high power LED, and design a testsystem device of LED luminance decrease. Using this test system, we can monitor theprocess of LED luminance decrease, and get some LED light source data, such as lightintensity, temperature and humidity, the LED junction temperature, power and current.Finally, the data in the form of files is stored in the storage. Through the experiment oflong time, correlation analysis will be done, via using a large number of data. It isconcluded that the key factors influencing the high power LED luminance decrease inthe current environment.Finally, we test the LED luminance decrease system, the device can run stabilityand reliability. The data of high precision can be stored effectively. We conduct an LEDluminance decrease experiment about2000hours, and analysis key factor that causeluminance depreciation. The results show that the way of testing LED luminancedecrease is more actual and accurate, the method has very important reference value tostudy LED luminance decrease.
