Network is playing an important role in our social life. The network applicationssuch as shopping online, e-commerce, e-government and mobile payment are constantlyinfluencing and changing people’s life. However, be accompanied with the popularity ofnetwork applications, various network problems and increasing number of networkattacks appear. As a result, network security problems have become increasinglyprominent issues. Network attack is closely related with defense are not independent. Todefense against network attacks and provide a security-ensured network environment, research on network attacks seems significant. Along with the development ofintelligent and collaborative of the network attacks, the research of collaborativenetwork attacks is also of great importance.Firstly, we present that some of the traditional methods covers the shortages inshowing the sequence of the attack steps and migration of the attack states. Secondly, aiming at these weaknesses, we propose a formal methodology for modeling thenetwork coordinated attack on the basis of enhanced attack tree and enhanced treeautomata, which can show the attack step and migration of the attack states in detail.Thirdly, we analyzed the network coordinated attack on IEEE802.11WLANs by usingthe attack model we proposed. Finally, some network coordinated attack experimentsare designed to show the effectiveness of the model. The result reaches the desired goals,it runs successfully both in function and performance.
