With the coming of the information age. we are swallowed by of pictures. However, an effective way to determine the authenticity of the picture does not exist. The reason for this phenomenon is that image forensics technology is not yet mature, many of the key technologies is still under researching. Moreover image tampering technology is constantly developing. Tampering get so many forms. This is undoubtedly bring a lot of obstacles to digital image forensics, but also reflects the importance of digital image forensics technology researching.This article introduces the JPEG compression standard, and JPEG compression procedure. Make a summary of general image forgery ways. Focuses on the experience of the dual characteristics of JPEG compressed image-an image region and the original region has forged different quantization history. By researching double JPEG image compression, the fake area is different from the original image after undergoing a third compression. This paper analyses three different JPEG compression algorithm based on the dual characteristics of JPEG and put forward a method base on quantization characteristics of splicing edge according to the advantages and disadvantages of three algorithms. The method integrates Y, Cb, Cr channels during the detection to get an accurate result.
