| Human-computer interaction is a very important area of research in the computerindustry and the pen-based interaction is a kind of human-computer interaction technology.Correlation between multi-degree of freedom pen input channel were studied to improve thepen input bandwidth and user experience in pen-based UI and explore the potential of pen-based interaction technology. Researchers designed and carried out three experiments. Thefirst experiment is study of the correlation between channels under the circumstances ofnature writing and painting. The second experiment is study of the correlation betweenchannels under the circumstances of maintained and changes one channel. The thirdexperiment is study of the correlation between channels under the circumstances ofmaintained and changes two channels in the same time. The result of first experiment gives a referential range of four input channels. It can beused in natural writing and painting or the other normal cases to improve user experience. The second experiment’s result shows that single-channel technology with high degree ofaccuracy can be easily mastered and the change of other channels presents some kind ofregular trade when user changes only one channel, the researcher also gives some advices inusing of this technology. The third experiment shows that the combination of pressurechannel and azimuth channel has the best performance. |
