This dissertation is devoted to studying several key issues of moving target detection in passive radar based on digital video broadcasting satellite (DVB-S). Firstly, the interference in surveillance channel is analyzed and the interference is much stronger than target. So we propose an effective CLEAN algorithm based on extended orthogonal subspace projection for interference cancellation, and simulation results show that the problem of strong interference has been resolved efficiently. Secondly, for the continue waveform illuminator, continues waveform signal is divided into segments and range migration feature of moving target is studied from the domains of slow-time and fast-time. Then we utilize keystone transform to rectify range migration for long-time coherent integration, and experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the method. In the end, a detection scheme based on cross ambiguity function for passive radar is presented. The statistical characteristic of cross ambiguity function under deferent hypothesis is addressed and corresponding detector is designed. Monte Carlo simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed detector.
