Cyber Physical Systems is an integrated multi-dimensional complex system of information in the world, the physical world and control processes,which achieves dynamic control of large engineering systems, information services and real-time perception. CPS system has an important and broad application prospects as it is with the characteristics of high security, reliability, real-time and efficient. From an application perspective, CPS covers not only the aspects of life that are closely related to the warehouse surveillance and smart home network, but also in the application of industrial control systems and intelligent transportation systems and other large systems are becoming increasingly widespread.Firstly, the operation mode and the overall structure of the CPS system are introduced, focusing on analysis of the spatial and temporal characteristics of the CPS, we study the CPS’s intelligent sense of control equipment, transportation, distributed energy development and construction, bio-medical, industrial automation, and urban infrastructure in application prospects in various fields such as construction, making from the perspective of time and space to analyse and research the CPS.Secondly, as with the model of Temporal and Spatial reasoning logical topology is becoming more and more popular. Based on analysising a logical representation of time and space and their logical primitives.we analysis the sequence of snapshots models, discrete grid cells list model, temporal and spatial and temporal complex event-based model and several temporal data model. We summary their strengths, weaknesses and areas of application,then present a combination of clock theory with RCC-8models which we called spatio-temporal sequence diagram. In this model, the position relationships between objects represented by RCC, the positional relationship that we present in RCC with a sequentially between objects change each other when the occurrence of different events is making.Finally, the spatio-temporal sequence diagram is applied to the Cyber-physical systems. In the case of Vehicle Ad-hoc Network, this article study on Vehicle Ad-hoc Network’s security, real-time, and we take the car to car, cars to people and cars to around target environment as the basic object, using spatio-temporal sequence diagram to analysis and reasoning the positional relationships between objects under the environment of Vehicle Ad-hoc Network to improve road safety and reduce traffic accidents,as to make the effective implementation of integrated transportation management and control. Using temporal and spatial analysis tools and techniques to simulate the dynamic process of temporal information for further simulation, forecasting and decision analysis has an important significance and application value.
