Radar is shouldering the tasks of reconnaissance, target detection in modernwarfare, it is a new and indispensable means of war. However, with the rapiddevelopment of high-tech, combat environment becomes more and more complicated, the traditional radar anti interception weakness makes its detection performance andaccuracy reduced greatly. In modern warfare, electronic counter interference is a threat that can not beignored, enemys often damage the radar communication by strong interference signal, which can reduce the detection performance of radar directly. In the view of radaranti-jamming problems, an electromagnetic environment perception based MIMO(Electromagnetic Environmental Sensory, EES-MIMO) radar are presented. Thispaper mainly studied on the Algorithm of Direction-of-arrival Estimation forElectromagnetic Environmental Sensory MIMO Radar. The main contents are asfollows:1.This paper mainly researched for single base transceiver MIMO radar. The firstsection introduced the working characteristic and principle of MIMO radar andanalyzed its challenge, and introduced the key:EES-MIMO radar. Then it introducedthe working principle and process of EES-MIMO.2. It analyzed the algorithm of DOA estimation for L type array, presented agradient-multiple point searching method which changed the traditional way ofsearching point by point, but according to the gradient information to adjust thesearch step adaptively, thus reduced the calculation of spectral estimation greatlyand improved the speed of DOAestimation.3. This part researched the traditional differential evolution algorithm, andproposed an improved differential evolution algorithm that combined with thebackground of multi-objective.To compare with the traditional DOA estimationalgorithm, this algorithm reduced the large computation of spectral estimation greatly.
