Research Of Image Information Decompostition System Based On Multiwavelet

Wavelet analysis is similar to Fourier transform in signal when changed from one domain to another mathematics processing tools in the1980’s.It has good features in time domain and frequency domain localization, adopted by JPEG2000standard.But,tight, symmetry, orthogonal nontrivial wavelet doesn’t exist in the real number field, which makes people have to compromise in orthogonality and symmetry. In order to make up the shortage, Goodman put forward the concept of multiwavelet,which based on wavelet multi-resolution analysis of function and generated by a single scale in space.And the extension function generated by multiple scales, in order to gain more freedom.It was the good localization characteristic of time domain and frequency domain, and the ability to overcomes the shortage of wavelet,making multiwavelet of great importance in practical applications.This paper mainly including the following sections:discuss the basic theory of wavelet which consist of wavelet transform and the distinction;select the perfect one from the existing multiwavelets;study the principle ideas and methods of image decomposition based on multiwavelet;familiar with the various parameters of hardware platform SOPC and the using method of it, and combine the theory of wavelet image decomposition with the hardware research system.According to the characteristics of the multiwavelet decomposition, multiwavelet decomposition algorithm was put forward.Multiwavelet has many excellent properties, which ensures a better result of wavelet decomposition when used in the processing progress of image fusion.But at present,most of the researches based on wavelet decomposition are only in theory, there are few practical explorations for it.This paper puts forward the theory of multiwavelet transform combined with SOPC and makes it into practice.
