Software testing is the testing of the quality of software, ensuring reliabilityof software and one necessary step. Application of cloud computing and theamount of data is rapidly expanded, Web software system is becoming more andmore complex, setting a higher request to the quality and performance of thesystem. Software testing is an important branch of software engineering, hasbeen rapid development.At this stage, Many companies have developed the software of applicationin the running stage and show good performance, but with the passage oftime, the software system is slow due to various factors, and even somecomplex request cannot meet the user’s response, which has become a majorproblem plaguing the company employees.Therefore, the performance testof more in-depth and meticulous research has more practical and more importantsignificance. At present, research on WEB performance test is not wellexpanded, resulting in many testers not having a complete system to refer toMeet, the test model and the process need to be further improved.This paper is based on WEB software performance testing, discussing thebasic principle and methods of WEB applications and the performance testingtechnology and existing strategies; Research on WEB performance testingframework of WPTM and other mainstream,;Analysis of the inadequacies of themodel,proposing the improvement strategy of test model,considering thecombination of characteristics of user access to business, and added a requestfailure rate; carring on the detailed elaboration and the exploratory testingmethods; testing the performance model of improved practical work in view ofthe actual application system, the improved test model is validated by examplesand analysis,demonstrating the effectiveness of the testing process.
