Industrial production often requires printing, welding or printing some image on the planes, which is not parallel to the view plane in human’s eyes. Such as that the technicians in the ship building industry need to print ships’number or name on boats’side boards, and draw ads on roads. When drawing image on these inclined surface (relative to viewing plane), since the depth information of the image is different in each regions, a perspective distortion occurs in the course of the vision imaging, which makes the human eyes observe an image different from its original shape characteristics.Due to the principle of the vision imaging, an image drawn on a slope is inevitably seen with perspective distortion. In addition to correct the perspective distortion, this paper discusses another anti-perspective distortion method according to the principle of perspective projection and the causes of perspective distortion. That is before printing the original image, transforming the images to make a front sight of the original images shows in the viewers’ eyes. This means eliminating the perspective distortion caused by the non-vertical plane.Firstly, study and research the principles and processes of three-dimensional visual observation and vision imaging theories. Then use the mathematical methods to analyze the theory of the perspective projection, and research the causes and environmental factors of the perspective distortion with perspective projection matrix analysis basis. Finally, calculate the images’projection result without the perspective distortion and the image which could make this projection. Then compare the original image with the calculated result which could make the projection looks like unaffected by the perspective projection and calculate the anti-perspective distortion transform matrix.After the completion of theoretical research, using this theory, OpenCV and MFC framework to develop software aims to drawing ships’number and name with purpose of test and practice. Application of the theory of this research will effectively solve the perspective distortion problem while drawing ships’names and numbers, and also, it meets the ship-building companies’needs and effectively improve their productivity. So this project have broad application prospects in the ships building industry, advertising industry and construction industry.
