With the rapid development of global broadband wireless network, the demands of broadband wireless network will be steadily on the increase. The development of real-time multimedia services based broadband wireless network is very slow due to cost and factors of the quality of video communication in the past. Nowadays, the development of real-time multimedia services has new vitality due to network technology improvements and the roll-out of broadband wireless network. The broadband wireless network for a new era is a large network with high speed, high capacity and high reliability. In the process of data transmission, the reliability of the data service in this network has been upgraded largely. In this kind of network environment, the data type that conveys real-time multimedia services is no longer a single data, but a kind of data type that contains a variety of services. For example, video telephone, it can transmit data services including image, voice and a variety of service data types. To better ensure the quality of real-time multimedia services, we need to coordinate the allocation of wireless resource and improve our network architecture constantly. Therefore, the research of real-time multimedia services based broadband wireless network becomes a heat point of research on Internet. This paper mainly includes the following two aspects:(1) Cognitive wireless mesh network is the combination of cognitive radio and wireless mesh network. Cognitive radio can interact with the surrounding environment, thereby meeting the objective that network nodes perceive spectrum utilization. Wireless mesh network not only can be rapidly deployed, but also has the advantages of easy maintenance, high reliability and low cost. This paper makes an analysis for the impact of ant colony intelligence based dynamic channel allocation algorithm in cognitive wireless mesh network algorithm for real-time multimedia services and give the specific content of improved algorithm based on the original algorithm, striving to guarantee the quality of this kind of services. We establish the wireless communication model in the MATLAB simulation environment. Theory and simulation results show that, this improved algorithm can be better to guarantee the quality of real-time multimedia services by reducing packet loss rate and transmission delay compared with the original algorithm for real-time multimedia services.(2) With the improvement and development of science and technology constantly, especially which has far-reaching implications in the field of communications. People have put forward higher requirements for the diversity of communication services. Meanwhile, the videophone appears with times advancement. The videophone can satisfy the people’s demand for video service, which can be established in the wireless LAN, thereby creating a fast and convenient platform. This paper puts forward a method of two-way image transmission between the client in public network and the server in private network. In the wireless LAN, the client and the server have achieved the mutual visit by using the network programming. They achieve the goal of two-way image transmission by using OK6410development board, establishing appropriate network environment, configuring parameters in the router, configuring network mapping command in development board and configuring firewall, thereby realizing the two-way image transmission between the two.
