Study On The Exhibition Of Alxa Desert Global Geopark Museum And Taishan Global Geopark Museum

In the past ten years, along with the constant improvement of people’s natural andcultural heritage protection consciousness, also the strong advance of government, thegeopark construction of China has achieved rapid development. In addition to thegeneral characteristics of ordinary museum, the geopark museum also has its specialprofessional characteristics. At present, the experts at home and abroad did a lot ofwork, which is about the location and exhibit design of geopark museum, and theyobtained the certain research results. But most are the more extensive location andconclusion, with no specific analysis according to the type of geoparks. The paper isbased on the museum exhibition of two different global geopark-Alxa Desert GlobalGeopark and Taishan Global Geopark. Based on the analysis of the geoheritagecharacteristics, it locates actual exhibition content of the museum. Then it achievesthe purpose that popularizing the geological knowledge and attracting visitors’attention.This article starts with the concept and connotation of geopark, the global geopark,the elements of geopark museum exhibition, the characteristics and the theoreticalbasis of the evaluation standard. Then it combines with the decoration of Alxa DesertGlobal Geopark Museum, to summarize the exhibition project of geopark museum,and analyzes its main characteristics and merits. Next, it summarizes the success anddeficiency in the exhibition of Taishan Global Geopark Museum, sets the new ideasand goals, and redesigns the retrofit scheme of the exhibition. The scheme willgather modern personalized subject, artistic effect, and professional popular scienceconcept into the exhibition design, make developmental research of the extensiveissue under the condition of reality.Summarizes the full text, the conclusion of this article have five aspects for theglobal geopark museum exhibition of China. First, the global geopark museumexhibition should follow the unity of the style, and the theme should be about thecharacteristics of the geopark. Second, the panel, video, and labeling instructions’content must be scientific and accurate, and easy to understand. Third, the content of the exhibition not only should pay attention to the introduction of earth science andthe interpretation of geoheritage, but more to add regional culture into it. Forth, theflexible installation method is also the indispensable elements of a qualified geoparkmuseum. Fifth, as a global geopark museum, it should have more open attitude, full ofhumanistic care.In short, the study and analysis of geopark museum’s exhibition content has apositive and realistic significance to the popular science knowledge propaganda and itstrengthens the construction of spiritual civilization.
