Research And Application Of AHP And BP Mixed Algorithm

The decision problem of multiple indicators and multiple attributes was pointedout by Miller in his doctoral dissertation in1966initially, so we called it Miller AHP(MHP). But based on the MHP, Professor Satty of University of Pittsburgh proposedthe Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) during the last seventies century, who is alsoproficient in operations research. AHP is the method that can combine thequantitative and qualitative, then can be able to show and calculate the subjectivejudgments of people in digital form. So, the AHP is a simple and practical method inmaking multi-criteria and multi-objective decision. When doing the decisionanalysis by AHP method, the reasonableness of judgment matrix has a very largeimpact on the decision result. And determining the important indicator of whetherthe judgment matrix is reasonable is to judge the consistency index of matrixwhether fully consistent with it, or meet certain requirements. During the process ofdealing with real issues, the judgment matrix that the decision makers making bycomparison is often inconsistent, which is not satisfied with the conformancerequirements. In order to ensure the effectiveness of decision, when the consistencyof judgment matrix does not satisfy the conditions, it requires to use the certainmethods to adjust the matrix, so as to satisfy the consistency requirements.The BP algorithm has excellent nonlinear mapping capabilities, by studying, itwill have the functions in processing the specific complex and no structuralproblems. So, using the processing capacity of BP neural network to process thejudgment matrix’s consistency adjustment problems in AHP has certain significance.To verify the ideas in this paper, author studied the decision process and theoreticalbasis of standard AHP at first, and then he designs and implements the multi-leveldynamic analysis decision model combining with his personal understanding, callsMAHP. After researching the theory of standard BP algorithm, and based on this, theauthor designs and implements the computing program of standard BP algorithm.Then combining with the MAHP’s design, the author integrates the standard BPalgorithm and MAHP into hybrid decision algorithm, which adjusting the judgmentmatrix not meeting the consistency in MAHP by BP algorithm.Finally, this paper verifies the feasibility of hybrid decision algorithm by thedecision-making instances. At the end of this paper, it summarizes the results of thisresearch, and where still needs to improve.
