Computer network communication is one of the main way of current age of communication. The high rapid of technology on Internet make the communication more convenient. The protocol used in the global communication network is TCP/IP protocol, including the network layer and transport layer.The transport layer in the transmission of message need to rely on reliable end-to-end link, as limited to the communication environment, sometimes there is no end to end link, such as the interplanetary network,the vehicle network,the wireless sensor networks and so on. The irregularly motion of node in the communication environment and the poor communication facilities should lead to the communication link break,then there is no end to end communication link, so the traditional network protocol will not apply into this kind of network.The concept of DTN(Delay Tolerant Network)was proposed firstly by Kevin Fall and some researchers in2003on the conference of SIGCOMM. The DTN is mainly used to cover the traditional network structure, adding the buddle on the network layer, employ store-carry-forward model to realize get the chance to transmit the message. The Delay Tolerant Network is a special kind of networks, it is mainly used in special communication environment. As the special communication environment, we analyze the property of the node and proposed a efficient routing to improve the efficiency in DTN.Social network is also a special kind of network, the relationship between the nodes is used to evaluate the social strength. Multi-region is importance characteristic in the network communication, so we combine the sociality and the regional in the DTN will be a feasible scheme.The thesis introduces the background knowledge of the DTN, the routing model, and the practical application, then we analyze the background relevant background, the regional and the relevant application. On the basis of in-depth analysis of relevant knowledge, put forward the corresponding improvement scheme, specific as follows:Based on the deep analysis of the relevant knowledge of the DTN, this thesis proposed a improved scheme, special steps as follows:1. According to the map of simulation platform, divided the map into four separate regions. and divided the node in the map into two kinds, one kind node just move in the same region, and the other kind node can move in the same region and also can move between different regions. As the director of the node and the position of the node now will affect the route performance, so the thesis proposed a new routing protocol.2.According to the node’s position, the route will divided into two kinds. If the relay node and the destination node are in the same region, choose the next hop according to the distance to the destination node; if the relay node and the destination node are in the different region, choose the next hop according to the direction and the distance.3.Using the simulation tool platform The ONE to complete the simulation and get the simulation result, then analyze the simulation result.
