As one of the core technologies of Internet of Things, RFID(Radio frequency identification) technology has already been applied into all kinds of industry, containing transportation, logistics, medical, industrial, etc., With the widespread using of RFID technology, how to ensure that the system efficiency when multiple tags are required to be identified simultaneously has become an urgent issue in the application process, because more tag collision and reader collision will occur. Traditional tag anti-collision algorithms is no guarantee that the system has a high throughput, so as to make the system identification efficiency is low, cannot satisfy the requirement of practical application. Therefore, for promoting the continuous development of RFID technology, we must do further research to solve the tag collision problem in order to improve the throughput of the system and the recognition efficiency.As viewed from the signal layer, The present paper will carry out and complete the research of tag anti-collision algorithms for RFID system using blind source separation technology, and will also put forward two new tag anti-collision algorithms based on blind source separation technology which compared with the traditional tag anti-collision algorithms, new algorithms are not considering about the protocol layer and modulation layer to solve the problem of tag collision. This paper will introduce the related principle of blind source separation technology and it’s model, and expound a kind of commonly used methods of blind source separation, which is called independent component analysis. The new algorithms, respectively adopt the principle of framed slotted ALOHA algorithm and dynamic framed slotted ALOHA algorithm, separate the mixed tag signals within a slot using independent component analysis method, thus realize successful identification tags. This is also the main innovation of this paper.Knowing from the results and its analysis of simulation, throughput of the system using the new algorithms is significantly higher than the system using the traditional algorithms, so as to acquire higher identification efficiency. Even the reader can identify more than one tag during once recognition process. Therefore, the system can be better to solve the problem of multiple tags collision in RFID system by adopting new algorithms, which may also provide safeguard for more extensive application of RFID technology.
