The Application Of The Data Mining Technology In The Library Management Information System

The library is an important way of people to acquire knowledge, the development of the library affects the education career, which is the library automation, information integration system and is the inevitable outcome of modern development. Traditional library management information system cannot meet the needs of readers demand for library resources, scientific management and effective utilization of library resources is the key for library development. Therefore, how to develop efficient and meet the demand of most readers of the library management information system is the problem to be solved.Library management information system stores a lot of information about the book, readers, and readers lending, most of the library system can only satisfy simple function for readers, such as add, modify, delete, query and borrowing books, it cannot using the data to provide services, resulting in the "data rich, lack of knowledge". As a result, we need to find hidden, useful knowledge from the stored data to improve the quality of library services, and the data mining technology can meet this demand.Based on the analysis of existing problems, study the currently research, we design and develop the library management system on the basis of using data mining. In order to effectively use of data stored in the library, this paper using data mining technology apply to library the system, providing personalized service for the reader. This paper’s main work includes:(1)The paper analysis the existing research of the library management information system, and the current situation of data mining application in library management information system, introduced the related technology of data mining, it analyzes the necessity and feasibility of library management information system construction, and the application requirements of mining technology in library management information system.(2)We introduced Apriori association rules algorithm, and analysis the existing insufficient and Apriori is improved according to the characteristics of library’s data, the efficiency of the improved algorithm is better than that of before improvement. Then the optimization Apriori algorithm is applied to the library management information system. And we do the mine experiments between books and books, and the result is applied to the library management information system to realize reader service module.(3)This paper introduce requirement analysis and design of the library management information system, then designs library management information system database and develops a library management information system based on ASP.NET. We developed system login authentication module, system management module, books management module, library module, books return module, books query module, readers borrow of history query module and data mining analysis module.(4) Test system and performance of the library management information system.
