Exploration and development of petroleum is a very dangerous industry nowadays, its production sites are in harsh environments, combustible gases diffusing, the number of large-scale production equipment and a wide varity of them are diverse. If you do not pay attention, some accidents would occur which would cause immeasurable loss of property and personal security. With the rapid and continuous development of the Internet of Things, its application in petroleum industry is to improve the exploration and development of intelligence and security.In this dissertation, the function of the petroleum and gas production of the Internet of Things system are described and analyzed, and embedded technology, wireless communication technology and development technology on Android intelligent platform are applied in it. The intelligent robot system of the petroleum and gas production of the Internet of Things has been designed successfully, including petroleum and gas production data acquisition subsystem, video information collecting subsystem, power control subsystem and control terminal subsystem. They undertake the important tasks of data acquisition and transimission, on-site supervision and remote control, improving accuracy, timeliness and security of the environmental information in the petroleum and gas production of the Internet of Things system.The main work consists of three parts:1. The research on embedded development platform of Tiny210. According to the requirements of the subject to select the hardware platform, complete the transplantation of U-Boot, Linux kernel root file system and related drivers.2. The research on the function of wireless video information acquisition. The video information acquisition system is based on H.264video compression standard, and combined with motion estimation algorithm to reduce the time redundancy between frames. The integer transform of4X4block can reduce the spatial correlation of image signal and the bandwidth which required by data transmission, improve the efficiency of video compression. So that video information can be transferred stably and smoothly through a wireless network. It could reproduce the scene details clearly in the control terminal to ensure the efficient operation of the entire system.3. The research and design of peripheral circuit based on a single-chip. To make sure that the system could detect combustible gases accurately in surrounding environment and send alarm signal, a variety of sensors are merged. It can also detect living body within the range of10cm error. Wireless data transmission is effective within a certain range and the software program can display the real-time data.4. The design and development of Android client. The Android client can be applied to control intelligent robot by human, or autonomous obstacle avoidance.Finally, some tests turn out that the intelligent robot in the oil and gas production of IOT system has good performance, and the dissertation summarizes the content of study and research work in the next prospect.
