Youth education is an important issue of public concern, at present the education of students is concentrated at school and families, but lacking of sufficient attention for the path process control. The social environment involved in students home-school path process is complex, and the parents are always too busy to shuttle students to and from school. Young students are still in immature stage of poor self-control, the lack of effective control is easy to go astray and thus affect their learning and growth. In response to these problems, the paper designed a positioning and tracking system that could display real-time location and route information of students.Based on RFID technology, the system realizes real-time location and path tracing of students home-school path process. The system is divided into three parts of tag reading module, communication module and PC monitoring software, and the communication module includes power line carrier communication module, the centralized controller module and TCP/IP communication module. Students wear electronic label card as an information carrier; readers are arranged within the targeted area, the reader read tags of its read range when receiving read command from monitoring software, and package the data whit the appropriate frame format, and then couple data through power line carrier to transmit data through power line. Centralized controller realizes serial communication with multiple carrier modules via serial communication expansion module, and sends the demodulated carrier signal to PC via TCP/IP communication module. PC software parses the device number and tag ID from message frame, and find out the the corresponding location and tag wearer information by querying database table, display the location information graphically in monitoring interface, and alarm for the abnormal situation. When the location information for the school or home, read through the integration of a complete record of home-school students come to the path information. To enhance system security to prevent information leakage student position, set the system login and password authentication dual landing location query mechanism to achieve a successful landing only users can view only their own location information for students. Monitoring records into a database and generate reports for parents and school administrators to view, for the home-school students to complete both sides to better collaborate to provide effective management of reference.Operation of system is safe and reliable, monitoring software is easy to operate and has friendly interface, both home and school parties can view students real-time location information by the human-computer interaction interface of monitoring software, proposing targeted management advice based on monitoring data of certain period, it has practical significance for strengthening student home-school path process control and promoting the healthy development of the students.
