As technology updates and demand increases, the current passenger transport enterprises in different regions do things separately and in their own way, which has been getting behind. Formed between the passenger transport enterprises information silos, thus achieving passenger transport data sharing has become an inevitable trend in the development of passenger transport industry. As the next generation of data exchange standards, Web services provide a new idea for information sharing, with whose technology enterprises can build in the internet large and complex applications. In allusion to the current situation of the passenger transport industry, this paper presented a solution of data sharing and cooperation among passenger transport enterprises, namely, the platform which uniformly manages, shares and releases passenger transport data. The entire sharing platform was designed in a service-oriented architecture and it proposed a virtual warehouse model for passenger transport business. The specific solution is as follows:First, the original passenger transport enterprises’functions are encapsulated into web services and released, which is then described by WSDL (Web Services Description Language). The service description is then registered in UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) registry and at the same time classified according to the information type of passenger transport industry. When needing certain service, customers search the Web service and call it by WSDL interface. In addition, when constructing service portfolio, customers can with the help of the description process of BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) optimize the composite service by the branch and bound method. Finally, the result of service calling is returned to the client, which ends the functions of the sharing service in the sharing platform. Here, Web service achieves access to network service via SOAP internet protocol and XML formats.Based on the design of the sharing platform, this paper implemented by taking examples the encapsulation, registration, calling and process constructing of the service and verified the feasibility of the technical solution. In general, using Web service technology to build a sharing platform where the current passenger transport data is shared can in a certain extent solve the problem of code reuse and it is easy and convenient for deployment and maintenance in days to come.
