Industrial test and measurement environments are complex, and signalinterference is large. In order to be able to ensure the measurement data can betransferred in the environments with high-speed transmission rate, stronganti-jamming hardware interfaces and stable interface transfer protocol plays a verybig role. This paper studies and implements a transfer protocol used in the industrialmeasurement site.This paper compares the communication interface RS232, USB, LAN, GP-IBdisadvantages, and analyses a variety of communication protocols. Implement anefficient transmission control protocol: VXI-11protocol based communicationnetwork.The design of the hardware platform is based on ARM7platform, peripheralinterfaces have UART, LAN, USB and various bus, etc; software consists of fourmodules: TOPPERS/ASP, TINET, peripheral drivers, application layer. Efficiencyoptimization and implementation of VXI-11protocol are the focus of this design.I caught up with a workable design process by the comparison of the function ofthe same product realization in markets, anglicizing the process of VXI-11communication and be refined by wireshark gets the sending and receiving packets,combined with the contents of the reference document IEEE RFC.VXI-11protocol is based on RPC remote procedure call protocol transmission,with the UDP/IP or TCP/IP communications. Based on this, I implemented thePORTMAP port mapping and the main channel, interrupt channel, terminate channeldesign of service side in turn.Finally, after the communication model designed, in order to improve theefficiency of data transfer, the data transfer algorithms optimizes to achieve therequirements of industry.Overall, this paper consists of VXI-11communication implementation andcommunication efficiency optimization. The final test results fully meet the requirements of industrial measurement instruments. However, due to limitations ofexisting hardware platform, the efficiency should be further improved. The softwaredesign of many-communications concurrent and exclusivity also need to be furtherimproved.
