Cancer is one of the disease difficult to overcome. Currently, radiation therapy, surgery and chemotherapy treatment are the three main methods of tumor therapy. IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) is now an important and commonly used techniques. AS an important equipment, electric Multi-Leaf Collimator (MLC) has a crucial role in the IMRT treatment. Leaf sequence control is the key technology for success rate improve of radiotherapy,This paper focuses on the existing sub-field optimization algorithm, analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of Galvin, Siochi and Bortfeld algorithm, put forwared the view of integrated use of algorithms considering sub-field number and accelerator machine unit.The upper computer control system is a key module for sub-field segmentation algorithm. MLC PC control system is designed in this paper, and its communication with the next lower machine is studied. The control file is transmited to lower machine correctly.The switching DC power supply for MLC control system has been designed in this paper also.
