A New Algorithm For Interpolation From Images Based On TSPL

In recent years, the speed of computer information technology develops very quickly,more and more digital images are used as medium for the spread of information.With thedevelopment of information technology, digital image processing technology has beenwidely used in aerospace, medical and military communications and other fields.In theproduction practice and our real life, people can get about80%information by images, sothe technology of digital image interpolation is obtained widely attention. Imageinterpolation techniques, it can change the pictures size, and it can achieve the work thatmake the low resolution image to the reconstruction of the high resolution image, what’smore it can make the visual of i a mage more clearly.TSPL as a new kind of algorithm is different from the original image interpolationalgorithm.It use a series of analytic form function gn(x,y)to close to the original imagefunction f (x,y).At the same time the gn(x,y)is a pixel set of three subsets. Thealgorithm is a very good approaches,when N equals to15,it can reconstruct the originalimage.We use the algorithm realize the interpolation of the three value image.At the sametime we select PSNR and MSSIM as our evaluation parameter.From the results of theexperiment we can see that the results of TSPL interpolation is better than bicubicinterpolation,B-spline interpolation,NEDI interpolation and SAI interpolation.What’smore,the image can magnify any multiple without mosaic,and the border of the image isvery clear.The result of the generated image is good.
