With the rapid development of mobile communication, we have entered the4Gmobile communication era now. Base stations play a vital role in mobilecommunication systems, In order to ensure base stations work stably and reliably andprovide wonderful integrated services, the OM system of base stations is essential. Atthe same time, new services are raised continually and different customers havedifferent requirements for the OM system of base station, OM system becomes moreand more complex. The traditional software development method have shown anobvious defect on efficiency, reliability and maintainability. There are many duplicatecodes in OM services when we research the main services of the OM system of basestations, it is an effective method to solve duplicate problems for specific domaindevelopment. As for each service, the same parts of them can be solved byframeworks or platforms while the different parts of them can be solved by DSLthrough our conclusion and domain analysis. The main research work of this paper asfollows:First of all, this paper systematically research the basic theory、the developmentskills、the modeling process and the development tools of DSL and mainly researchthe network management system of wireless communication system, the architectureof base station as well as the main services of OM. We build base station specificdomain meta-model on the basis. Secondly, we describe the process of creatingBSDSL according to meta-model carefully, and then we create the configurationmanagement model of base station by the BSDSL. It contains the init andconfiguration recover model of single-board, the online configuration model ofsingle-board, the configuration reverse request model of MPT, the configurationresponse model of MPT, the configuration query model of MPT, the configurationmanagement model of single-board. We describe how to transform graphical modelinto XML format model after model is created. Finally, we use MetaEdit’s MERLlanguage constructs code generator to convert the model into target code. You will getthe target system by just combining the generated codes with OM domain framework.
