The wide application of wireless sensor network is restricted by limited energy, how to save energy has become a hot issue in society. So, the double layers clustering algorithm is proposed on the basis of predecessors, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm and the cloud particle swarm optimization algorithm is respectively used to optimize double clustering process, the algorithm is analyzed from theory and simulation, it can obviously save energy and prolong survival cycle.Firstly, double layers clustering algorithm is proposed based on the clustering routing algorithm. The theoretical of the proposed algorithm shows that it not only reduces the distance between nodes for data transmission to save the energy consumption, but also disperses the data stream of network and balances the energy consumption among the nodes.Secondly, particle swarm optimization is introduced in double layers clustering algorithm to optimize clustering process of the routing algorithm, it is formed that double layers clustering algorithm based on particle swarm optimization. The proposed algorithm has not only an effect on saving energy, but also the characteristic of high speed and accuracy, which realizes the optimization of clustering process. The simulation results show that double layers clustering algorithm based on particle swarm optimization can save energy and prolong survival cycle of WSN compared with single layer clustering algorithm based on particle swarm optimization.Finally, in order to save energy of WSN, cloud particle swarm optimization is introduced in the clustering process of double layers clustering algorithm. It ensures search breadth and avoids premature fall into local optimum by adjusting inertia weight, to make energy consumption of each node more equalization and avoid premature death of local nodes. The simulation experiments show that double layers clustering algorithm based on cloud particle swarm optimization can save energy and prolong survival cycle more efficiently.
