Keyword Search And Recommendation Algorithm And Its Application

With the rapid development of Internet and the extensive network applications, networkteaching has been paid a lot of attention. Network teaching has a huge impact on the previousteaching methods. Teaching resources are shared by more and more students without therestrictions of time, space and teachers. Learning efficiency is further improved by means oftaking full advantages of convenient network conditions.The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:(1) Against the needs of users searching information, keyword search algorithm isused to help users query needed information. Add the word segmentation algorithm toprocess the input text, and the system continues to search depending on the main wordsthat have been cut separately. Therefore the system can return more accurate overallresults of the searching.(2) By combining the search algorithm and the recommendation algorithm, thesystem can provide intelligent recommendation function. While users search for desiredcontent, the relevant contents without directly being searched but may be required arerecommended. Therefore, the users may find their interesting learning material.(3) A network teaching system is developed which supports the intelligent search andcontent recommendations. The system includes students, teachers and administrator. The mainfunction is to support the intelligent search and content recommendations, to provide theinteraction between teachers and students and to help users more conveniently and efficientlylearn their courses.
