With the pervasion of cloud computing, smartphones become mobile smart terminals in people’s daily life. Cloud computing is a new computing and service paradigm which makes the computing resource become a huge resource pool, including CPU, storage, software, services and so on, it will provide the corresponding cloud services according to the request of cloud terminals. However, due to the unstability of wireless connections and the replacement or loss of the smartphones, cloud services may become unstable when smart cloud terminals access these cloud services. In this thesis, we firstly investigate the existing schemes on resource management for mobile smart terminals. Then we present a lightweight strategy of virtualized resource management by providing each terminal with a virtual smartphone in clouds. The status and the run-time information are transferred to the virtual smartphones in a realtime way. When a physical smartphone crashes, the status can be recovered by its corresponding virtual smartphone. Finally, we carry out the experiments in the real smartphones and our virtualized resource management platforms. We demonstrate that our strategy is effective and the performance is evaluated in terms of status types and delay.
