ABSTRACT:The job of this paper is based on the Next Generation Internet Testbed System, and it was inspired by the idea of service adaption which is one of the most important parts of the national "973" project--Smart&Cooperative Identifier Network. Our jobs mainly focus on how to implement smart service lookup on Service Layer. In the Smart&Cooperative Identifier Network, Service Layer adds SBDs(Service Behavior Description) to give a service further description.The project "The basic Theory of the Universal trustworthy Network", which is a part of the national "973" project, has already implemented Service-Identifier resolution system. It maps the Service Identifier to the Access Identifier. The system is responsible for maintaining and managing the registration information. The structure of this system is based on DHT, it has more advantages than traditional DNS mechanism.1. It has a better ability to describe services. DNS maps domain names to IPs. Service-Identifier resolution system can store more service information, such as service identifiers, service names, service types and so on.2. Mobility Support. Since DNS is host-centric, users need to know the locations to request services. Service-Identifier resolution system is content-centric, so requestors research services by service identifiers.3. load balance. As Service-Identifier resolution system is based on DHT, this structure has a better ability to balance load.Our job is based on Service-Identifier resolution system. In order to improve service intelligence, we designed Smart Service mapping system. The new system is used to adapt some better service resources and transform service names to host identifiers. Moreover, as users request services to a source, the intermediate routers cache services.The structure of this paper is described as follow:Firstly, we describe the background of the Next Generation Network briefly. Secondly, we discuss the main idea of Smart and Cooperative Networks and Name Resolution System. Then we design modules in detail. Finally, the network topology is described, on which we do coding and testing the functions of the system.
