The precision and cost of weapons systems is more and more important in modern war, which not only directly concerns the success of the war but also can effectively reduce the rate of civilian casualties. The shells with a laser, infrared, millimeter wave and GPS/INS is precise, can be implemented accurate shooting, but the cost is very high. It greatly increased the cost of the war, which makes this kind of artillery shells can not be large-scale use during the war. Therefore, the trajectory correction technology came into being. It is low-cost precision ammunition which reduces the firing errors improves accuracy of the projectile firing by comparison of the ideal and practical trajectory,as well as finite discontinuous amendments to adjust the flight trajectory. It is the basic technology of ballistics correction to obtain the flying ballistics information of bullet. It is necessary to conceive this kind of radar on purpose in order to improve the system cost performance. This paper achieve trajectory correction by radar, its main contents are as follows:1. Review the theory of trajectory correction technology, analysis of the factors that affect the trajectory.2. The trajectory correction radar is designed. we introduced the working principle, the work process and technology features, achieve the various subsystems in the works. The main performance index of the radar is analyzed.3. The trajectory correction radar is tested. We statistics the experimental data, analysis experimental data, and validate the performance of the radar trajectory correction by simulation.
