The main purpose of this paper is the foundation by using image processing and pattern recognition technology, improved image processing and target recognition effect of moving object segmentation technology, combined with the present situation, proposed a suitable for hardware implementation of infrared moving object segmentation algorithm, the infrared image preprocessing technology is studied, the infrared straight image difference processing, calculate the segmentation threshold; calculated image of the instantaneous difference (temporal derivative), the two value image segmentation into motion and non motion region extraction method, and the local window finished moving target.
