MIMO technology uses digital array radar transceivers are techniques used between subarrays launch mutually orthogonal transmit waveform, due inter orthogonal waveforms in space will not transmit beam forming, thereby effectively ensuring coverage of space radiation; reception also uses digital array technology, receives the transmitted sub-array subarray signals to match the transmit filter, for phase compensation equivalent to the transmit beam synthesized after receiving a subarray digital receive beamformer is thus obtained with the antenna gain of the transmitting and receiving. Since MIMO technology radar jamming, anti-clutter, low intercept etc. Compared with conventional radar has certain advantages, this article focuses on the radar transmit diversity MIMO technology has been studied and simulation, demonstration MIMO technology in airborne radar project possible applications. This paper studies the transmit diversity MIMO technology airborne radar signal model of the overall framework and from the radar range, the dynamic range of the receiver system improvements, several aspects such as anti-interception, theoretically analyzed the performance of MIMO radar technology; research the orthogonal MIMO technology radar waveform optimization methods and performance of conventional single-carrier frequency orthogonal rectangular pulse train signal, orthogonal frequency division chirp signal and quadrature signals and multi-phase coding performance analysis and simulation, studied the polyphase quadrature signal coding genetic algorithm optimization method, and carried out simulation tests; analysis of MIMO technology matched filter radar signal processing, digital beam forming method such as further analysis of the MTI, MTD processing and constant false alarm rate detection technology.
